Since 1994, Susan D. Green has focused her legal career on the area of family law, where she handles dissolution of marriage cases and modification cases involving child support, maintenance and/or child custody disputes and mediation.  In 2001, Susan began doing family law mediations to assist people with resolving domestic disputes.

Susan has been recognized in Ingram’s Magazine as one of the Best Lawyers in Kansas City for her work in Family Law for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Susan received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas.  In 1994, she received her law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where she served as an editorial assistant for the Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Susan is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and was elected to serve as a council member of the Family Law section for a three year term, beginning in 2000.  Susan is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and has been very active in the Family Law Committee.  She was chair of the Family Law Committee in 2001 and served as vice-chair in 2000 and secretary in 1999.  Susan is a contributing author to West Publishing Company’s Missouri Practice Series, Volumes 21A and 21B on Family Law.

Susan and her husband have two children and they reside in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
